I go to the VR Kanojo website, download the patch that specifies it is the Steam 18+ patch, run the exe file and I get the abdata folder. In the Steam app, I located the VR Kanojo game, click on properties and the folder opens up. From here I have attempted several different ways from renaming the original abdata folder to abdata orig and then dragging and dropping the new abdata folder. I run the game and all I get is a "loading" message and the game never even launches.
I also tried placing the original abdata folder on the desktop and then dragging and dropping the new abdata folder and same thing.
When I try to validate the game files, it tells me 130+ of the files can not be validated and it needs to replace them, and then it proceeds to download and replace those files. I guess I am assuming it is restoring the original files? In the game, is there a way, after you launch it, to tell whether or not the 18+ patch is there or not? Thanks for any info. If you installed the patch properly you can undress Sakura through the menu while in a scene All you have to do is merge the patch 'abdata' folder with the one already in the game directory. I have the folder installed in the Game folder but I'm not getting any of the uncensored scenes.
